How We Do It

INNOVATION SCOUTING

Where we continuously track emerging innovative solutions to identify high-potential next-gen innovations that can progress through our innovation pipeline

COLLABORATIVE VALIDATION

Where brands, innovators and suppliers jointly test next-gen materials to validate performance and impact, de-risking adoption by sharing costs and lessons learned.

COMMERCIALISATION & SCALING

Where we co-create commercial models addressing key scaling barriers, operationalising them with innovators, brands and suppliers to accelerate market adoption

Why We Do It

While next-generation innovations present promising alternatives, they remain trapped in the early stages of scaling, with market penetration still below 1%. High development costs and long lead times exacerbate this issue, keeping these innovations out of the mainstream. Additionally, first-of-a-kind production facilities face engineering and market risks, complicating the path to scale and making competitive unit economics a key challenge.

Fashion for Good aims to bend the adoption curve of these innovations by focusing on the three critical levers: demand, cost, and capital. To truly unlock scalability, we need collective action, forward-looking supply chain partners, innovative financing mechanisms & policy action across countries.
